Advent
Meditation:
When
difficult situations arise, such as financial set-backs, family problems,
and/or physical ailments, its human nature to try and find an immediate
solution and control them. And when this doesn't work, we become frustrated -
or worse yet - feel that God has abandoned us. Keep in mind, however, that
although God's loving presence is always near, His plans for us and His
"timing" are not something that we have control over. Thus, we must
simply learn to "let go and let God;" being assured that the outcome
is in His loving hands - the same ones that were voluntarily nailed to the
Cross - and that "God is with us!"
