St. Hieromartyr Raphael Šišatovački was abbot of the monastery Šišatovac studied painting in Russia in the late 19th century. He had painted many iconostasis, he has exhibited his landscapes and was good portraitist. At the beginning of the war 1941st Ustashi arrested him along with the other monks and people, from Srem and taken to the camp Slavonska Pozega. There he was beaten and abused, he died in agony from the beatings. His tomb has not been found.
