Our biggest
enemy is ourselves.
You feel this
especially when you try to go in depth within yourself - in your heart and to
seek Christ there.
Your fallen
nature will instantly resist you…
The harder
you try, the more you force yourself, the more you try to go in depth, the more
it will resist you.
Then you will
try to use all your strength to seek God and the fallen nature will fight you
with all its strength.
Finally, your
nature (behind which stands the devil) will try to make you completely give up
on seeking God…. and many have given up
just like this....
That’s what
we do to ourselves…
However,
despite everything, when you still try to gather all your strength and fight
back, even though you have been defeated... this is the bravery, the heroism
and the warlike spirit - when you don’t back down - because the meaning of our
lives is to find Christ - to meet God in
our hearts.
