“Remember my chains…” (Col. 4:18)

St. Paul offers a chilling testimonial to the end of his letter to the Church of Colossae by asking the faithful to remember the ridicule, persecution, and imprisonment he suffered for the Christian Faith. This gives us pause to ask the eternal question: What sufferings, if any, have I endured for Christ; and if so, did I accept it an endure them honorably….or did I simply fold like a cheap paper bag?
