A MUSLIM TEEN CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY SUFFERS BRUTAL GENITAL MUTILATION AT THE HANDS OF FANATICAL MUSLIMS THE BLOOD OF CHRISTIANS

Dear People,

The Orthodox Christian Church believes that it has preserved the fullness of the message of salvation as preached by Jesus Christ.  Proof of this is the power of the Holy Spirit that proliferates in the life of the Orthodox Church in the 21st century.  This fullness of faith of the original Church is producing an abundance of saintly men and women in the age of apostasy.  When I say the Orthodox Church is the fullness of the faith as preached by Jesus Christ, I mean the presence of the Grace of God permeates all the sacraments offered by our Church.  The offering bread and wine are consecrated in the Divine Liturgy and become the very Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.  During the blessing of water, the water becomes holy water, it often heals the sick and it never spoils.  Holy Unction heals many people from bodily and spiritual diseases.  Our saints defy the laws of nature and become transfigured when the power of the Holy Spirit descends upon them.

The following story comes from the book that I translated from the Greek about the life and works of St. Porphyrios.   “We should not find it strange that Divine Grace should rest upon this young monk who was filled with fire for Christ and gave everything for His love.  He never once considers all his labors and struggles for Jesus to be in vain.  It was still dawn, and the main Church of the Monastery of Kavsokalyvia on Mt. Athos was locked.  Nikitas, as Porphyrios was known when he first became a monk, was hidden in the shadows of the Church entrance waiting for the bells to ring and the doors to be unlocked.  He was followed by the old monk Dimas, a former Russian officer, over ninety years old, an ascetic and holy man.  Fr. Dimas looked around and made sure that nobody was there. He then started making full prostrations and praying before the Church doors.

As he was praying, suddenly Divine Grace poured down upon him and then cascaded down upon the young monk Nikitas who was then ready to receive it.  His feelings were indescribable.  This was revealed to him later when he was on his way back to his monastic cell after receiving Holy Communion at the Divine Liturgy that morning.  His feelings became so intense as he ran through the forest that he would repeatedly stop, stretch out his hands and shout loudly, “Glory to You, O God Glory to You, Glory to You O God Glory to You.”  Following the visitation of the Holy Spirit a fundamental change took place in the psychosomatic makeup of young Monk Nikitas.  He acquired supernatural gifts that lasted throughout his long and miraculous life.” This is just a small example of the fullness of faith that is continuously exhibited by holy men and women throughout the centuries in the Holy Orthodox Church.  Like Christ, St. Porphyrios became transfigured by the power of God.  Having said this, the following story of a Christian convert in Africa, does not mean that God’s intervention and miraculous powers are limited to only Orthodox Christians.  We can never limit the love and compassion of our Lord and Savior for those who love Him.  He is speaking and acting today, in a very powerful way throughout the Muslim world.  The following miraculous story is indicative of His profound love for us.

A MUSLIM TEEN CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY
SUFFERS BRUTAL GENITAL MUTILATION AT THE HANDS
OF FANATICAL MUSLIMS

THE BLOOD OF CHRISTIANS

The Muslims who carried out forced female mutilation on a Christian teen in North Africa say they were later tormented by visions of blood after the near-fatal attack, according to the Christian group Bibles for the Mideast. Recently a fourteen year old girl in the undisclosed country was left in a coma after being attacked and mutilated by Muslims upset with her conversion to Christianity.  After at least two physicians had declared the teenager dead, she stunned doctors and hospital staff by suddenly getting up from her bed and going home.

The case of Lydia, the daughter of Yoonus, is being monitored by Bibles for Mideast as Yoonus is a missionary with the underground group that distributes Bibles and offers other help to people in the Muslim-majority Middle East.  The names of the daughter and her father were changed for this report to protect them from retaliation, according to the group’s director, Pastor Paul Ciniraj.  He told WND (World News Daily) the details of the miraculous story.  The girl was attacked by fanatical Muslim men and women while walking home from school one day and dragged to a nearby home and subjected to brutal female genital mutilation.

Following the barbaric mutilation, she was left in a coma.  After local physicians had given up on her and declared her dead, she suddenly sat up and went home.  The girl then described what happened to her when she was in a coma.   She said her soul had left her body.  “Angels came to receive me and took me to heaven.  But Jesus appeared before me and said, ‘I cannot turn away from the prayers of my children.  My eyes are upon to my children and my ears are open to their prayers.  So I give you your life back, for the issues of life and death belong to me.  You go back to the world and be my witness.’  Then He put His face right up against my face, breathed into my nostrils, and my soul returned to my body.  Then He moved His nail-scarred hand over my body and He healed me completely.”

Now the ministry is reporting that the Muslims who carried out this brutal attack suddenly became afflicted.  The ministry learned of the circumstances when the attackers visited the home of Lydia and her father pleading for help.  These Muslim attackers explained: “The last three days and nights, all of the women who had been involved in the procedure seemed to have gone mad.  Some shrieked that they saw blood everywhere, even when sitting alone.  Attempting to prepare meals, they would scream, again seeing blood in the food and they would throw it out.  Given water, the same thing would happen.  With knives in their hands, they were approaching children explaining to them their need for circumcision, and promising to do it carefully this time.”

Because of their bizarre activity the Muslims had become convinced God’s anger was at the source of the trouble in their homes.  So they invited the imam of the local mosque to come to their houses and pray for healing.  Part of the Muslim ritual involves the sprinkling of water upon which the imam breaths.  Seeing this, one of the women present violently responded to the imam by knocking him down.  At this point the imam had enough and simply left the house.

The men who had perpetrated the attack were faring no better, suffering nightmares, lack of sleep, and extreme anxiety.  After suffering all these things, they finally realized that they must visit Lydia and Yoonus to ask for their forgiveness.  The imam and the Muslim community leaders advised them against doing this.  But out of desperation, the attackers went to seek forgiveness.  Yoonus told the Muslims that healing would come to them only with forgiveness from God and he described the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection.  Yoonus said, “You will be saved and you will also be healed if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior,”

The Muslims listened quietly and intently as Yoonus told his own story of coming to Jesus.  The Muslims then readily confessed their sins before Jesus and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.   After praying together, Lydia’s mother served them tea and the Muslims left.  Upon arriving at their homes, they marveled that their wives had become completely normal again greeting them happily.  The danger, however, remained for the local Muslim imam and the other Muslims in the community were very unhappy with the developments.

It should be noted that Bibles for the Mideast operates in nearly 20 Middle Eastern nations where, while Islam is the majority religion, “thousands upon thousands of people secretly believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior” said the minister Ciniraj.
