“Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” (Mark 14:72)

Peter had a rooster’s crowing to remind him of his denial of Christ. Wouldn’t it be helpful if we had an APP on our phone or an alarm on our Fit-Bit to do the same?

(By the way, this is one of my all-time favorite biblical-themed paintings. I love how it captures the moment of Peter’s denial; with Peter turning in shame as our Lord, arrested and being led away, turns to look at Peter one last time.)
