Christ is Risen!
Despite being a Roman Centurion, Cornelius was a devout man who respected the Jewish religion, prayed regularly, and was very charitable. His ultimate conversion to Christianity (along with his entire household) was a pivotable moment in the early days of the Church and revealed the possibility of bringing the Gospel to all nations, clarifying the whole dynamic of the Christian Faith and freeing it from being thought of as merely a fulfillment of Judaism and only for the Hebrew People.
