In Matthew 11:15-19 we read of how Christ became angered by the moneychangers and businessmen who were once outside the Temple but kept encroaching until they were literally buying and selling within it. This caused our Lord to drive out these conniving marketeers in an act known as the "cleansing of the Temple."
If our body is the Temple of the Lord, how much have we let enter us that is not only simple, but takes up space and pushes God out? Therefore, if Christ were allowed to enter into you today, what would he find? Would He find room? Would He encounter a spiritual, prayerful atmosphere? Or would our Lord find a place of complacency, chaos, clutter, and such.
Invite Jesus into your life - into your heart - and allow Him to drive out that which doesn't belong so that you might be whole, healthy, and spiritually purified by His presence.
