“…having eyes full of adultery.” (2nd Peter 2:14)

In the eyes of God, and according to Holy Scripture, marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. God instituted marriage and intended it to be the building block of His Creation and the foundation of society, the vehicle of procreation; a "crowning" achievement reflecting God's Kingdom. Thus, adultery is wrong and sinful because it disrupts this initiative and goes against God's vision.
