Christ is Born!
The book, A Christmas Carol, was written by Charles Dickens and published in 1843. It tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley. He is then visited by the spirits of Christmas past, present and future. After their visits, he wakes up on Christmas morning completely transformed into a kinder, gentler man.
Christ is no ghost, but Jesus did come to transform us. And in Him we also have healing of our past, help in our present and hope in our future.
