“He who is not with Me is against Me.” (Luke 11:23)
“He who is not with Me is against Me.” (Luke 11:23)
This is obviously a rather abrupt statement coming from Jesus, yet it is both, a pivotal and crucial choice. Just like finites in mathematics, absolutes in chemistry, truths in philosophy, and right in ethics, there is no middle ground for Christians. They cannot be “fence-sitters” regarding faith and commitment. Either we are all in, or all out; no one can be a half-hearted Christian. We either follow, or we don't.
Fr. John
