Good works ..........

Good works do not have power in and of themselves, but only serve as an external expression of ones inner disposition and an affirmation of a soul's godly potential. And although they can be indicators of the presence of good within us, be mindful that the Pharisee, too, performed altruistic works, although his did not flow from a selfless demeanor, but from pride and hypocrisy.
