“The Antichrist is coming…” (1st John 2:18)
The term Antichrist simply means “against Christ;” the full embodiment of everything that is opposite of Who and What Christ is. Where Christ is “Truth,” the antichrist will deceive. Where Christ is the “Law,” the antichrist will bring lawlessness. Where Christ is the “Way,” the antichrist will provide alternative paths. Where Christ is “Love,” the antichrist will spread hate. The antichrist will supplant humility, with pride; right, with wrong; and good with evil…all right under our very noses.
Keep in mind that these “opposites behaviors” will come gradually, blurring preset Judeo-Christian values, morals, and ethics. The antichrist will lead people away from God with cunning and clever deception, all-the-while disguising himself as the Messiah.
