“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2)

One of the beautiful aspects of being a Christian is that we are not alone, but part of a Holy Community: Christ’s Church. This means we have an innate connection to one another, a bond that affords us the ability to strengthen and encourage a relationship of love and support. Therefore, just as St. Paul writes above, we must show our Christ-like love by supporting others through tough times of difficulty and crisis, sharing and easing their burdens by giving of ourselves and extending a helping hand.
