Many in Kuban are aware of this miracle, as numerous witnesses shared their accounts with relatives and friends.

Nine nuns were brought in carts to be shot. They were lined up shoulder to shoulder over a cliff, so as to avoid having to bury them later and causing unnecessary work.

The Komsomol members prepared to open fire, and the nuns began loudly singing a psalm.

And then the miracle occurred. Suddenly, a blinding light shone, and three angels appeared. 

Two angels descended and stood to the left and right of the nuns, and the third angel descended and stood before the Komsomol members, who all immediately fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

The drivers came running from the carts, saw the Komsomol members lying like corpses and the nuns singing, alive and unharmed, and galloped to the village "for help." The "help," confused and afraid, began loading the Komsomol members onto the carts. "What should we do?" asked one nun. "Disperse," came the command, which they obeyed with prayers.

All the Komsomol guards died very quickly, but their secretary lay paralyzed until his death (for a whole year). He grew thinner and thinner every day. And when only bones and skin remained, a multitude of worms appeared. Before his mother could scoop up the huge pile, they would reappear from nowhere.

He suffered terribly and kept screaming, begging, "Pray for me!"

There was no one to pray for him, as the people living around him were unbelievers who did not know how to pray.

And those who could have helped him had all run away.
