Acts 22:6, 7
“But it happened that as I was on my way, approaching Damascus about noontime, a very bright light suddenly flashed from heaven all around me, [7] and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

Paul was in Jerusalem at the time (21:15) and spoke to James and all the elders (21:18), then went to the temple to preach to the Jews (21:27) where he was dragged out of the temple (21:30) and later was allowed to defend his actions (22:1-21) which includes these verses.
Paul was sharing how his life had changed when Jesus appeared to him – he was telling people what happened.
For many of us, we had something happen that caused us to put our faith in Christ. With Paul’s example, we should be willing and able to share our story when the opportunity arises.
