A few days ago we found an Elder enlightened on Mount Athos who told us these shocking things.....
"The devil and his organs want us to see everything black and pessimistic.
But in the end everything is white when we do a good calculation.
Everything is bright in the providence of God and all the joy in His Kingdom awaits us in an eternal future.
However, when we read the devil's newspaper (current affairs) from dawn to dusk and eat for countless days, then we become unhappy and sullen.
*But only the laughing and happy will inherit Paradise!!!*
Let alone all these hours that we waste by dealing with the news of darkness and the scum of hell, when they are articulated, whole months and years will come out of our lives where in eternity it will be a black void and a patch that will not close with nothing! "
