Father Vissarion “one winter evening, in a village of Makrakomi.

Father Vissarion “one winter evening, in a village of Makrakomi, he was hosted in the house of a man who insulted his uncles. He sat by the fireplace and called the landlord’s children to him.

He fed them with everything he had in his bag and gave them loving advice.

In the morning, the landlord, without Father Vissarion saying anything to him, asked to go to confession. “This old habit, my father, made me afraid to go to church. I thought the tiles would fall on my head. When I saw you at my door, I was surprised. I said to myself, ‘A priest in my own house? Is that possible?’”

I thank you, my father, for coming and agreeing to sleep in my house. Your arrival gave me courage. I want you to know that from today on I will change my life and will never find my gods again"
