Philanthropy.
"The heat, at its height. Sweaty and thirsty, the three of us arrive at a hermitage. There
is an Elder living there with three subordinates. He received us with great joy. He understood our hardship from the uphill journey and made us eat a little.
After a while, he tells his subordinate
to cut the watermelon and bring it on three
plates. Three plates arrive, filled to the brim.
It was something unexpected for us. True joy.
We all ate and each of us left something on our plate "for shame". "Then we realized
that that watermelon was the only one
they had. And they offered it without eating anything
themselves"
Philanthropy.
