Today's gospel reading is one of few instances in which Jesus becomes riled. We never think of Christ losing His temper, yet that is what He did when He entered the Temple and saw it set up just like a market place.
Anger is not a bad thing as some of us might believe; it is what we do with that anger than can cause pain and upset. in fact, righteous anger is necessary if we truly wish to evolve from evil to good. We must be upset with evil ways and sinful actions. Yet we can not chastize others if we are guilty of the same sins as them. This is why Christ preached that we should pass judgment upon no one but ourselves.
