We are reading.....

Those who do not choose to receive Holy Communion, fail to pray, refuse to read scripture, disregard any effort to study or attend educational classes to grow in faith, and are selfish and uncharitable are this way because they have made the conscience decision NOT to change. They are comfortable with their ignorance and enjoy living in darkness. Like Gollum in Tolken’s Hobbit, their sinfulness is their “precious,” and the Light of Christ threatens their comfortable existence.
