Explanation of the Holy Trinity.

Explanation of the Holy Trinity

One day there came to St. Gabriel a Georgian who had lived in India for a long time and who had switched to Hinduism and often went there to see his master. Fr. Gabriel took a loaf of bread and made the sign of the cross over it in the name of the Holy Trinity, and marvelously the bread became wheat, water and fire. "Look and see," he said to him, "all this is the Holy Trinity in three hypostases: Father, Son and Holy Spirit". Then he again made the sign of the cross, and the wheat and the water and the fire became bread. Just as this bread is whole and cannot be divided into those from which it was made, so the Holy Trinity is of one being and indivisible," he added.

St. Gabriel Ivirean, the Fool for Christ - page. 52 - Jean-Claude Larchet, Ed. Sophia, Bucharest, 2016, translated from the French by Marinela Bojin, the book was published with the blessing of His Beatitude Elijah II, Patriarch of All Georgia
