“As He says also in Hosea: ‘I will call them My people, who were not My people’.” (Romans 9:25)
St. Paul quotes the Prophet Hosea to express the fact that God’s benevolent love, mercy, and grace extend far beyond the traditional “limited” boundaries of preconceived Jewish thought; specifically, that the Christ would only be the Messiah (Savoir) of the Jewish People instead of all of mankind – Jews and Gentiles alike – regardless of ethnicity or heritage.
In other words, God accepts all who accept Him.
