Dimitrios Panagopoulos was a devout lay preacher, who as some saw in a vision, as his soul ascended to heaven when he fell asleep, angels greeted him with many candles (right and left) as well as many saved souls, who were helped by his sermons. His speech had a unique expressiveness and could shake even the most sluggish soul.

God does not illuminate some more and some less. He illuminates everyone the same! It is like the rays of the sun, which illuminate us all the same... The problem therefore lies with us, to what extent are we receptive to illumination! And this depends on our faith and the life we ​​lead... That is why people, although they "swim" in the Grace of God, which is omnipresent, do not all feel the Grace. Because some do not believe in God and others who believe in Him do not behave Orthodoxly.

Those who do not feel the Grace of God are miserable... And the most miserable of all is the devil who does not experience the Grace of the Holy Spirit at all!.

A person can understand, by whether and to what extent he experiences the Grace of God within him, by the spiritual state in which he is. All the baptized carry within themselves the Grace to a greater or lesser extent, which during prayer becomes felt and comforts a person.
